We have only a few days left until the end of the 12th edition of Krakow Photomonth – it is the last chance to see the exhibitions of the Main Programme and the ShowOFF Section as well as participate in the events of the grand finale: curators' tours, Masters Series meetings, workshops and parties!


Four fascinating weeks with the best of world and Polish photography are behind us. But we are not done yet! For those who like to leave all the fun up untilthe very last moment it will be important that the exhibitions of the Main Programme and the ShowOFF Section are running only until Sunday June 15! The same day will be the last of the best portfolios presentation along with the works of the winner of the Griffin Art Space, the Patron of Krakow Photomonth 2014, prize for the best portfolio of the 9th Portfolio Review, Bogusław Madej. However we have saved a lot of specialties for the last days of the festiwal as well!

The last weekend
On Saturday June 14 guided tours will be led by Jakub Woynarowski, curator of the Echoes exhibition (Bunkier Sztuki Gallery, noon) and Aaron Schuman, guest curator of the Main Programme and the author of the FOLK. A Personal Ethnography (Ethnographic Museum, 2.00 p.m.). On Saturday as well quire a treat – a Masters Series meeting with Eyal Weizman, co-author of the Forensic Aesthetics (Pauza Gallery, 6.00 p.m.). All the threeeventsare a must for those who want to get to know the title of this year's edition title – Re:Search – in express mode.

During the weekend we will have the last workshops accompanying the Experimental Section, workshops on advertising photography and workshops for kidsinspired by the Trevor Paglen The Last Pictures exhibition (Starmach Gallery). The finale of the Photomonth this year will go off with a beat as well! On Thursday June 12 in Piękny Piec club the "Krakow Photomonth representative band", Ciocia STEFA, will perform along with the star of the evening: The Abstinents, and on Sunday June 15 sitarting at 5.00 p.m. the traditional Nonofficial Closing Party will begin at 5.00 p.m. at Foundation for Visual Arts' organosing the Festival Rampa.

For those running late
We hurry with a cheer-me-up to all of you who will not make it to Krakow until mid-June: 3 exhibitions of the Main Programme will last longer. The Last Images by Trevor Paglen at Starmach Gallery will run until June 27, Further Reading by Clare Strand at National Museum in Krakow – The Szołayski House and FOLK. A Personal Ethnography by Aaron Schuman at Ethnographic Museum will run until August 17.

Ypu may also take the Festival "home with you” – in the beautiful, richly illustrated catalogue designed by Pilar Rojo you will find in-depth texts on each of the Main Programme exhibitions. ATTENTION! On the last weekend of the Festival the catalogue and other Festival publications will be available at the Festival Office (Bunkier Sztuki Office) at 30% OFF.
